Play follows the fortunes of a woman pioneer, who comes to New Zealand as a bride, sees her husband killed by Maoris, struggles through to her ambition to own the whole of the fertile valley in which she first settled, looks back on her life as oldest pioneer and guest of honour at the New Zealand Centennial, Adventures of Robin Hood and his merry men in the Forest of Sherwood are being produced and recorded in 12 episodes for the children’s session. Three sea dramas, "Arctic Reseue" and "Escape of the Calliope," by Taffrail, and ""The Whalers," by Martin Renner, of New Zealand, are in preparation.
