Listens to Wrestling
Peter-the-Greek (Matamata) writes: J wonder what sort of person "Bored" is? he letter he (or perhaps she) wrote:to the: "Radio Record" about
2YA’s wrestling announcer wasn’t the least bit spor ty. When-referring to a recent bout in Wellington, "Bored" remarked how often the announcer repeated himself,
which, according to "Bored’s" tally, was 162 times. I can’t imagine how anyone can listen to a wrestling bout and at the same time get a grand total of the petty mistakes made by the announcer. I doubt very much if "Bored" could tell you who was wrestling on that particular night. Wellington's announcer will do me. When a bout is on I listen to the commentary on the wrestling, not to the few slips an announcer is liable to make,
