Good Talks

Luxor

(Levin)

writes: I am _ taking

an opportunity to express my appreciation of many of the talks broadcast from some of the national stations. I refer in particular to 1YA Auckland-to such speakers as Mrs. B. F. G. Richards, Messrs D’Arey Cresswell. Sydney Scott, A; R. D. Fairburn and Professor. Algie. Two others delivered a short time ago also deserve special mention-one on Sir Edward Elgar from 1YA and the other on G. K. Chesterton from 2YA. The last-named was excellent. I cannot help agreeing with other correspondents that more time should be given to poetry through speakers and records.
