Broadcasting "Mairality" Results

To the Editor. Sir.-I have just opened up the ‘Radio Record" for to-day, and find on page

5 an editorial from you on announcers’ voices, Last night. Dunedin was given a mos: dreadful example of pronunciation from 4¥O, and also 4YA, in the announcement of the election results. From p.m. till 11.45 the same voice informed listeners -that the last results in the mairality contest, ete. over and over ad nauseum. It. was really dreadful, and why these men with New Zealand educations should pronounce as nboye is beyond me.-TI am, etc..

VIOLET FYNMORE.

Dunedin.
