Gracie Fields Jollity Wanted More
To the Editor , Sir,-The reading of other humorous little notes in your paper inspired the writing of thig one. Joking aside, I have been ill ter three weeks, my constant companion being the radio. All that time from seven till 10 each day I’ye anxiously listened for Gracie Fields, alas, bearing her ouly once. Though not exactly high-class musi¢ hers nevertheless is‘a "record of cheer." Why can’t we hayé her a little more of-ten?-I am, ete, :
