ene eee "My Favourite Character in History " Sosemminenememenne Following the recent very succesful series of talks from 2YA"The Attributes Essential to Suc‘eess in Life’-the Broadcasting Board has concluded arrangements for another special series to be delivered by competent speakers, all of them well-known in public life. The new _ series, entitled, "My Favourite Character in History," was commenced on a recent Monday by Sir James Parr, who spoke on Benjamin Disraeli-Lord Beaconsfield. The remaining speakers, who will speak on successive Monday evenings, and their subjects are:Mr. P. Fraser ..... Sir George Grey Lady Statham ....King Charles II. Canon P. James .. Alfred the Great Mr. R. A. Wright ..... Gladstone Dr. J. W. Mellraith John Brown of Ossawatomie ‘Sir W. Hunt ....Abraham Lincoln Mr. J. S. Barton . Oliver Wendel Holmes
