The other cases in the series, six in all, are to be presented on consecutive Saturlay evenings; details are as follow: Latimer v. Peterson: an action 10 recover £5000 for alleged breach of promise to marry. Apparels Ltd. v. Adams: an action brought by a drapery firm against 2 doctor to recover the sum of £1450, payment for goods supplied to defendnat’s wife. Rex v. Fenton, Rex v. Harrison, Rex y. Johnson: a charge of manslaughter
brought by the Crown against three young men. Cromer v. Cromer: a claim for £500 damages for alleged assault and trespass. Cordingly v. Palmer: an action ‘o recover £50 for the loss of plaintiif’s dog, allegedly killed by the defendant. Burkitt v. Hillyer: an action for damages for alleged slander.
