The "Radio Times"

ypws haye been more than gratified with the reception which the "Radio Times" has been given.. We hoped it would be popular, but, judging by the correspondence we have received, we are led to believe that it will shortly be an essential. Supplies of the first issue were completely sold out-this is not altogether to be wondered at, because curiosity prompts a gréat number of people to buy the first issue of 2 new magazine, but what is more gratifying, is the fact that the second issue, of which we printed even more than the first, is now almost sold out, and literally scores of appreciative letters have reached our office concerning it. Almost without exception the letters eontain the highest praise for the new magazine, and the consensus of opinion is that it is filling a long-felt need. Here are a few short comments from some Ofgthe letters :- " ‘Radio Times’ No. 2 excellent. I read it from cover to cover, and appreciated every page. Fancy any dxer having the pluck to suggest that 9d. is too much for it." "Tl bought the May issue of the ‘Times’ to-day, and bave just finished reading it. You are tq be congratulated on turning out such a fine paper." "We thought thé April issue was good, but the May issue is in a class quite on its own. If you keep up this Standard you will have a wonderful paper." "The ‘Radio Times’ is certainly a winner. The articles are good, the photos excellently produced, the technical section beyond all praise. The ‘Radio Log’ is quite ou@ on its own. The ‘District Notes’ have grown beyond all expectations." "IT bought a May copy, and judging by that it is a perfect magazine. Just the one for the b.c. and s.w. enthusiast." "This month’s ‘Times’ is 100 per cent. better and great interest in being taken in it in this district." But these are only a few excerpts chosen at random from the mail that jis before us. Scores more letters with. appreciative comments have come in, but they are not kept, these representing only a couple of days’ mail. The "Radio Times" is 9d. per copy, and the yearly subscription 10/-. It is published monthly, on approximately the first day of each month.
