1 1YA Items ON to-night’s -programme, which will be of the week-end variety type, will be Miss Reta MacCullay, Scottish soprano, and Mr. Fred Baker, baritone, both singing well-known songs. The Mati Trio will entertain with Hawaiian and other airs. A miscellaneous programme will be presented by the 1YA Chamber Orchestra. At 9 o’clock "Lee Fore Brace’ will tell a sea story, "Yorkie," whilst at 10 o’clock there will be the sporting summary, followed by dance music till 11 p.m. Features from Wellington . THE W.H.A. talks on "The Earth and Man-Our Shrinking World," will be continued at 2YA by Mr. R. J. Waghorn, M.A. 38YA and 4YA FROM 11.30, 4YA will be broadcasting trotting results from Forbury Park (second day). 4YA’s Studio Concert will be broadcast also by 3YA.
