Notes from Auckland }{ILEEN MILLER (contralto) and Albert Gibbons Taylor (bass baritone) will be the local soloists on tonight’s miscellaneous programme, Some of the latest popular airs will be played by the Regal Saxophone Quartet, whilst a varied programme will be presented by the Chamber Orchestra, under Harold Baxter. 2YA Notes A ONE and a half hour’s concert at 2YA will be followed by dance music’ till 11 o’clock.

Barnett, superintendent of Christchurch City Reserves, will give his second lecturette at 8YA on "Horticulre," Features from Dunedin " A GUIDE through the depressionthe agricultural problem" will be the subject of the W.H.A. lecturette by Mr. Lloyd Ross at 4YA. The Select Four at 4YA will sing excerpts from several of the most popular musical plays, and solos will be broadcast by well-known artists, and the Premier Mouth-organ Band, playing popular airs, should add novelty to the programme.
