Auckland Jottings [THE Savoy Quartet will be the yocalists on this evening’s programme. Vocal and piano items will be given by a new duo, Sybil and Bric, and further novelty numbers will come from Ray Jury and his xylophone.. During the evening Mr. A. B. Chappell will give a talk on "Byways of New Zealand Story." Wellington Notes ‘AT 7.40 p.m. Mr. Dan McKenzie will speak on "The Laws of Rugby Football." 2YA’s weekly half-hour of the latest recordings will open the evening’s concert, which will also be of a very bright nature. Denis Sheard, Australian tenor, now of the J. ©. WilHiamson Company, will be singing. Will Yates has thirteen minutes of original humour entitled. "Filling Up"-a name which hag reference ot to the thirteen minutes period of time, but to the plebiscite which is now being carried out by the Broadcasting Board, Christchurch J ottings I['O-NIGHT the first of the weekly half-hour recitals of the latest light recordings will be introduced. The balance of the programms will be of a Shakespearean flavour, to commemorate the anniversary of the birth and death of the famous dramatist. Dunedin Features RECORDED numbers and local ar- tists will provide a varied programme,
