From Auckland EVERAL new artists are making their appearances on the evening programme. Abel Rowe, a very wellknown singer, is singing some of his own compositions, and Annie L. Lewis. contralto, will be heard in a group of ballads. . Saxophone and novelty piano items will be given by the WattersRae Duo and other artists appearing will be Mrs. G. T. Brian in popular songs at the piano, and Cyril Towsey. solo pianist. 2YA Notes \ A feature of the programme will *. be the Aotea Trio of male voices, specialising in Maori. folk songs. Claude Moss (baritone). who organ- _ ised the trio, will also be heard in the ‘solo, "Kamate." Edwin’ Dennis (tenor) and na Rapley. (soprano) will please listeners with solos and duets from the musical

comedy "Rejuvenation," by Wynn and ‘Andre. This play has not yet been heard in New Zealand. J. A. Blackwood will contribute piano-accordion numbers. The Orchestrina, under the conductorship of Signor A. P. Truda, will contribute light orchestral numbers. 38YA Features ORMA and MARGARET MIDDLETON, playing violin and piano respectively, will give recitals of Scottish and Irish folk songs in the evening. The Two Rascals will present vaudeville turns. The whole programme will be of a popular nature. Dunedin Features Variety will be the keynote in the programine, which will be of an oldtime nature. Dag’s Band will interSperse the programme with tunes of other days-Iancers, barn dances, Trish quadrilles, and waltzes. The Happy Four will sing many old favourites, including a number of negro songs.
