X "THE subject of the home science talk from 1YA, 2YA and 8YA will be "Spring Salads." . " f- From Auckland T 12.15 p.m, the mid-day service in St. Matthew’s Church will be relayed. At 7.40 p.m. a talk, under the auspices of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Association, will be given on "Work for the Boys and Girls Leaving School," The evening’s broadcast will be devoted to a relay from the Town Hall of a concert by the Royal Auckland Choir, conducted by Dr. A. W. Thomas. 2YA Features At 7.40 p.m. Dr. Findlay, medica! officer of the Health Department, will give a lecturette entitled "Personal and Community Health-Past and Present." The evening programme will feature the Etude Quartet in excerpts from "The Quaker Girl." All the principal solos, duets, and quartettes from this popular musical comedy will be included. Miss Gracie Kerr and sames Cooke will delight listeners in two humorous sketches. The Salon Orchestra will supply the incidental music, and suitable electrical recordings will be included in the programme. Christchurch Notes (THE lecturer on 3YA’s international! programme will be Mr. L. R. Rh. Denny, M.A., F.R.H.S., speaking on "Anglo-French Relationships."
