Special Complimentary Supplement in Next Week's Issue ERY full arrangements are being made for the dissemination of election results from all YA stations on December 2. As was done in 1928, all stations will co-operate with the Post and Telegraph Department and local newspapers, in order to give listeners thr oughout the Dominion the fullest and promptest results of the polling. 2¥A will naturally play a key part in the broadcasting of that evening. Co-operation is being effected with "The Dominion" newspaper to ensure speedy dissemination of news to the crowds assembled in Wellington, eager to hear the results, and listeners elsewhere. Direct telephone lines will be installed from the General Post Office to the office of the "Radio Record" in "The Dominion" newspaper building. This office will be fitted as a temporary studie for the occasion, and announcements will be carried out from it. These announcements will be broadcast not only from 2YA, but through a loudspeaker system, to the crowds assembled in front of "The Dominion" newspaper building. On the last oceasion this crowd was a magnificent spectacle, some 30,000 to 40,000 people completely filling Walsefield and Victoria Streets. OR the convenience of listeners interested in securing detailed results over the air, there |will be incorporated ‘in next week’s issue of the "Radio Record" a large-sized supplement, setting out in chart form all the electorates, with the names of the candidates, their party, and the resulis of the last poll. Space will be provided for entering the figures of the results as they are announced. This Supplement proved of great value in 1928, and our supplies were exhausted. On this occasion a greatly-increased number of papers will be printed and made available to our agents throughout the country. Readers are asked to advise their friends of this service, so that mo one interested need be disappointed if an order is placed promptly with the nearest agent for the "Radio Record." The election is on December 2, and this Supplement will be available as from Tuesday, November 24, in ow next weelk’s issue bearing date November 27. ‘ .
