Notes from Auckland rae Broadcasting Choir and the Orchestra will combine to present the dramatic cantata, "The . Legend of Nerbudda,’ by Hubert ath. On the supplementary programme will be Merle Miller, mezzo-soprano, of Christchudch. Wellington Items . A STUDIO concert by the Welling- : ton Commercial Travellers’ and Warechousemen’s Association Orchestra and Concert Party will be broad- : ast. \yene vocalists for the evening will inchide Denis. Sheard (tenor, late of the JIumphrey Bishop Company), who will be heard in "A Dream," "A Spirit ¥lower," and "I Passed By Your Window" and "God Touched the Rose." The orchestra, under the conductorship of J. ¥. Woodward, will present a very fine programme, featuring the overture "Jolly Robbers" and "Cockney Suite." 38YA Notes HE. series of International Programmes will continue at 3YA. The lecturer will be Mr. J. F. D. White, \MLSe., B.A., speaking on "A Trip to the Andes."
