From. Auckland. A THREE-ACT play is scheduled for this evening. These radio presentations have always a fascination and a charm that

make a great appeal to all listeners, particularly when they are well produced and well _performed. On _ this. evening the Little Play Club, who have so often delighted listeners with their artistie efforts, will, under the direction of Mis. Zoe BartleyBaxter, perform Beiser’s three-act play, "Don." ‘The cast. includes some of Auckland’s leading players and a very entertaining evening is assured for all. From Wellington HW yariety programme will be of a high standard. ‘The Orhestrina, under Signor A, P. Truda, will supply the incidental music. The Golden Hula Hawaiian Orchestra will be heard in a number of characteristic airs. Christchurch Notes HH 3YA "Radio Service" will be given by Mr. D. Cossgrove and Mr. W. Melbourne. Excerpts from the musical play, "Princess Caprice," will be featured on. the evening’s programme, the singers being the Melodious Quartet. AdAitional voeal nimmbers will he the

duet, "Old Morgan > and His ‘Wife, " and the "Market Chorus" from Auber’s *"Masianello." On the instrumental] side of the programme, a piano. solo, Brahms’s "Cradle Song," will .be played by Miss Aileen Warren, while banjolin solos, consisting of popular medleys, will be ‘contributed by. Mr. Stan Birch. Dunedin N otes NEW artist, Mr. J. B. Flynn, a member of the Dunedin Shakespeare Club, makes his appearance at 4YA this evening. He is to recite: extracts from Kipling and Ogilvie. A ‘string, orchestra of. seven instrumentalists of exceptional merit, under the direction of Mr. T.-J. Kirk-Burnnand, will present selections from "Rose: Marie," "The Student Prince," "No, No, Nanette," and "Pirouette." Miss Betty Garland, one of the members of the will play a violin solo.
