4YA Musical and Dramatic Committee

Future Programmes Discussed At the meeting of the 4YA Musical and Dramatic Committee, held on ecember 11, there were present :-Mr, ax Scherek (Society of Professional usicians of Otago), Mr. A. Cook (Dunedin Burns Club), Mr. 8. Osborne (Dunedin Shakespeare Club), ‘Mr. H. O. McFarlane (Dunedin Orchestral Society), Mr. J. G. Butler (Royal Dunedin Male Choir), Mr. J. Mackenzie (Station Director). Mr. Max Scherek was voted to the chair, in the absence of Mr. Desmoulins. The committee discussed receni studio concerts and relays, also programme arrangements. Among other things discussed were suggestions made for a "New Zealand ITvening," a jAtaorl Evening" and a "Martin Hvenng."
