CHURCH RELAYS Broadcast From 1YA. ‘THE church service to be broadcast will be relayed from the Auckland City Mission, the preacher being the Rev. Jasper Calder. This broadeast will be followed by a relay from the Town Hall of the concert to be given by the Municipal Band under the direction of Mr. Christopher Smith. . From 2YA. HW evening service conducted in the Vivian Street Baptist Church wiil be relayed, the preacher being the Rey. F. B. Harry. Mr. Chas. Collins will be at the organ, and: the choir will be under the conductorship of Mr. J. R. Samson. The studio concert to follow will be given by the Wellington City Silver Band, who will perform under the conductorship of Mr. ©, A. Forrest who has arranged 4 programme of interest to listeners of all musical tastes. The supporting vocal artists will be Miss Jeanette Briggs (soprano), Miss Ngaire Coster (contralto) and Mr. G. Madigan (bass). From 3¥A. [HE service in the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church will be broadcast. The studio programme which will follow will be contributed to by Miss Nellie Lowe (contralto) and Mr. A. G Thompson (baritone) in solos and duets, Mrs. K. Henderson (mezzo soprano) and Miss Olive Cooper €piano). From 4YA.
