H.M.S. Diomede's Band

A MUSICAL treat was accorded listeners on Sunday afternoon by 2YA placing on the air the Band of H.M.S. Diomede. This was by permission of Captain Hall, D.S.O., and Bandmaster Kirby. The performance was of interest and a welcome variation of the Sunday afternoon’s~ customary routine. The band proved itself to be an excellent combination, its numbers being performed’ with elarity and feeling. Many listeners joined heartily in the thanks conveyed to the band at the conclusion of the performance by 2YA Announcer.
