The N.Z. Radio Listener's Guide, 1929-30

PUBLICATION of this book, which is eagerly -awaited by many listeners, will be made (D.V.) on April 30 or May 1. The final pages have now been practically completed, and the better part of the book is printed. It remains only for the remaining section to be run through the printing press ‘and assembly to be made. Some little delay has been occasioned in the production of the volume by the necessity for very careful checking of all the data being utilised. This has been ‘necessary, of course, by reason of the permanent nature of the publication. Every effort has béen made to avoid error. Articles' of! a very informative and authoritative nature are embodied in the book, a great deal of original work having gone to their compilation. It is felt that the "Guide" will take rank as a very valuable contribution to wireless literature. Some of the articles are outstandingly original in .conception, and all are either the result of original investigation or thorough checking up and re-writing of prior activity. Very substantial preliminary orders have been received from both radio dealers and booksellers, and it is anticipated that, as was the case last’ year, the edition will be completely sold out.
