Hawke's Bay Radio Society
Cordial Invitation to the Radio Broadcasting Company RECENTLY, Mr. E. H. Culver, hon. secretary of the Hawke’s Bay Radio Society, paid a visit to 2YA, when it was suggested that a representative of the Radio Broadcasting Company might be able to pay a visit to his district. The Hawke’s Bay Society has now extended a very cordial invitation to Mr. J. Ball, the editor-announcer, who will visit Hastings on the first available opportunity. No date has yet been fixed. In writing to Mr. Ball, Mr. Culver remarks: "In the event of your being able to come through, we will endeavour to arrange a meeting of listeners from the whole district, so that you can hear opinions from all angles. I can assure you that such a -visit would be worth while, both from your company’s point of view, and also from our own, for there is a great deal of dissatisfaction existing, which I am satisfied would be cleared up by such a visit."
