ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS
To Various Corrrespondents.—W cannot publish several belated notices of concerts and resolutions on St. Patrick's Day. All these should have been in two weeks ago. “Admirer” (Timaru). —Pieces obtained from American exchanges. .1 Sony of Hoads from America, 'which is the best American Catholic weekly for literary people. Thanks for cuttings from La Croix. We often get a copy of that excellent journal. “Tir-Owen.” —Sorry your letter is anonymous. This is the eleven millionth time we have to call attention to the fact that we refuse to come down to the level of papers that lend their columns to anonymous writers. J.P.—Mr. Twomey’s letter is amusing—nothing more. That he is out of touch with Ireland is not wonderful ; that he believes he knows more than tho Irish people is ludicrous. P. J. D. (Ohakune). —Very grateful thanks. We are not downhearted. Sean Buidhe is. M.A.L. —What do we know about. Bolshevism, anyhow Do you or anybody else believe the cables ? The Allies stirred up the Russian Revolution and now they cannot calumniate the rebels sufficiently. Some of the Allies compare very badly with the worst of the Bolsheviki.
