The Catholic social held in the Town Hall on the evening of April 3 (says the local Evening Po sty was a very successful function, the attendance being estimated at five hundred. The musical programme was contributed to by the Misses Sullivan and Sheehan, two songs; Mr. Coleman, two songs; Mr. Wilkie, who gave one of his numerous recitations. The accompaniments were played by Mesdames McNeely and Bianchi. A tasty supper was provided by the ladies. Prior to the social, the Stratford Municipal Band rendered several selections outside the hall in the early part of the evening. The members of the committee carried out all the arrangements very capably, and deserve the hearty congratulations of all present, , The Holy Week services were very well attended, and on Easter v Sunday over 150 persons approached the Holy Table.
