ST. MARY'S COLLEGIATE HIGH SCHOOL, CHRISTCHURCH
On tlie afternoon of December. 17 his Lordship the Bishop -presided at the annual musical and dramatic entertainment und distiibution of prizes in connection with St. Mary's Convent^ Collegiate High School, Colombo street , conducted by the" Sisters of Mercy. Among those present were the Very Rev. Dean Ginaty, S.M., V.G., the Tery Rev. Father Price, Adm'., Fathers O'Hare, Cooney, Hoare^ and Molorey. After an excellent programme, 4 his Lordship tho Bishop pipsented the prizes. He -eulogised the splendid work done by the Sisters of Mercy and the notable., successes achieved. in the various examinations during the' year. lie expressed the great pleasure experienced by all in the entertainment provided by the pupils, whom he congratulated, together with their devoted teachers, on the talent displayed and careful training which brought about such good Jesuits.
