One candidate succeeded m securing A.T.-O.L. in the

higher examination. Air worked well, and deserved the prizes ;allotted, continued his Lordship, and congratulated all" concerned on the musical treat afforded and the happy choice of selections, which were performed with great crispness. He wished them a joyful time during the holidays, and wished all leaving school every success in the future, in whom the good principles instilled at the convent school would stand to them in after life. All should he grateful to the Sisters, who had been so devoted to them, and in" this regard the parents, top, owed a deep debt of gratitude to the Sisters,, whose devotion to the children and careful training must exercise a marked influence on their home lifeY He wished all a right merry Christmas and a bright, happy, and holy New Year. The large gathering of - parents; a"nd fr-iends visited an exhibition demonstrating the artistic abilities of the boarding and day divisions 'of the High School pupils. The display was most effective and comprehensive, including nature studies in oils and water -colors, woodwork, ribbon work, art needle and. lace work, and. quite a creditable collection representative of the industry of the kindergarten school.
