(From our own correspondent.) September 10. ' Our social last evening was a great success. The large Town Hall was crowded. The Catholic socials in this town are very popular, ■ and the Rev. Father Treacy .has every reason to be proud of the. way the people of this district appreciate his efforts. The funds are being to ' the credit of the church account, and will no doubt form a nucleus of" the'building 1 fund, as it is very evident every Sunday that our church wants enlarging. A special feature of the entertainment was "Mr. Julius Plitch's acrobatic feat. : Songs, recitations, and instrumental solo's made up the greater part of the programme.
