GILFEDDER— HORAN.

An interesting wedding took place at St. Mary's Church, Invercargill, on November 11. The contracting parties were Mr. P. J. Grilfeddef and. Miss Mary Ann (Minnie), Horan, children of two old and respected residents of Southland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Delany. The bridegroom is the youngest son of Mr. P. Gilfedder, Kennington, and brother of" Judge Gilfedder, of the Native Land Court. The bride is eldest daughter of Mr. T. Horan. The bride, who was attended by Miss» Gilieddei\ (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss Maggie Horan (sister), was given away by her father." The bridegroom was attended by Mr. J. Gilfedder (brother). The bride was beautifully attired. The wedding breakfast was ' partaken of at the residence of the bride's- parents in Bowmont street, and was attended by the friends of both families. The usual toasts were duly honored. The presents were numerous and costly, testifying in the most convincing manner to the esteem and respect in which the bride is held by her numerous friends. The breakfast over, the happy pair, accompanied by a large party, drove to the railway station, and took their departure" for the north .on their .honeymoon trip.
