April 22. — , A very pretty wedding "was celebrated at St. Pat r rick's Church last Wednesday morning, when Miss May; Duffey, eldest daughter of Mr.' Denis- Duffey, of this town,' was married to Mr. Cooney', of Waverley. Very Rev. Dean" Care w officiated. The bride, -who was given away by her father,*, was attired, in-a. duchess' satin dress, trimmed with Honiton silk lace; "emibroid'ered chiffon,, and orange - blossoms. The bride was, attended by her three sisters, Misses Annie, Lucy, and' Rita Duffy, as bridesmaids. The -bridegroom was attended by his cousin, Mr. M. McEnroe, as best man, and" Messrs. W. and -T.Duffey as .groomsmen. . The nappy couple*' lef fc in the afternoon for Chris tchurch, where the honeymoon will be spent. • ' •' " /'•'/," *' -
