WEDDING BELLS
SHERIDAN— O'ROUR'KE.
A quiet wedding took place at residence of the bride's parents, at Argyll, Hawke's Bay, on April 9, when Miss Hannah O'Rourke, third daughter of Mr. R. O'Rourke, was married to Mr. Philip Sheridan, third son of Mr. P. Sheridan, of the Native Land Office, •Wellington. The brid-3 vas -becomingly attired in a pretty travel l'nis; costume cf blue cloth, trimmed with tartan- silk and gold embroidery, _ and wore a large white velvet hat with ostrich plume and autumn leaves. She was attend ed by bar sister, Miss Bessie O'Rourke, as "" bridesmaid, who wore a pretty Eton costume of g-ey tweed, trimmed with apple green velvety and white leghorn hat trimmed with floral ' ribibon. " Mr. T. O'Riourke, brother of the "bride, acted as -best man. The 'bridegroom's present to the bride was -a solid silver mounted brush, cdmb, and hand-glass, and "silver ■frinket boxes, acd to the biftdesmaid- a gold and amethyst "brooch. The- ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Johnston, of Waipawa. The happy couple left by the afte-noon- train for Napier -en route for . Gisborne, their future home. - -
