(From our own correspondent.) A general meeting of members of Si. Patrick's DaySports' Association was held on Saturday evening. Mr. G. Watson piesided over a large attendance. A programme of events was submitted for the sports to be held on St. Patrick's Day. The total prize money allotted is £149 12s (id. and the events embrace all classes of athletics. The principal event is a St. Patrick's Day Handicap ' of £40 and a silver cup, the St. Patrick's Day Wheel Race of £17 being next. The president made a donation of a silver cup to be allotted to the St. Patrick's I>ay handicap ; Mr J. O'Neil a gold medal for the 100 yds amateur event, and Mr. 51. Kerins a special prize of £1 Is for the Irish reel. Votes of thanks were passed to the various donors. Mr. T. Duncan was appointed secretary to the Association. Mr. P. J. O'Leary, uho has filled the position of hon. secretary to the Association since its formation, was elected a life honorary member, and was voted a bonus of £10. The quarterly meeting of the ll. A. CD. Society was held on Tuesday evening. The president (Bro. P. J. O'Leary) was in the chair. One new member was initiated. It was decided to approach the Holy Table in a body on Christmas Day.
