Hokitika.

One of the prettiest weddings that has taken place in. Hokitika for, some time took place in St. Mary's Church on Monday, October 9, the contracting parties being Miss Kathleen Murphy, third daughter of Mr. T. Murphy, of South Westland, and Mr. M. J. Fogarty, of Greymoiith. A Nuptial Mass was oeleibjraited by the Rev. Father Aubry. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a handsome dress of ivory white silk, trimmed with silk insertion and laoe, and wore a lovely Limerick lace veil and wreath of orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Misses T. M. Murphy and 'C. Fogarty. Miss Olive Cox, a wee mite, was also in attendance on the bride. The best man. was Mr. T. Fogarty, while Mr. J. Murphy acted as groomsman. After the ceremony the bridal party and guests drove to the residence of the bride's parents, ' HinerniU'tiu,' where a reception was held. Mr. an-d Mrs. Foigarty left fry Ihe afternoon train en route for Australia, Where the honeymoon is to be spon/t. The wedding presents were numerous and extremely handsome.
