DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co., report as follows :— For Satunday's sale there was a rather larger display of horses, especially among the draughts, thian there has been for a few weeks past, the only drawback being that 1 the major portion of the entry had passed tihe most saleable age limit. Some draught mares ''and geldings of good btamp and guaranteed not over seven years sold uncommonly well, w'Ml&t even the aiged horses, when at all fresh and active, met with a fair demand, and realised good prices. Of light hoirsos very few came forward for die sale, and consequently no deals of note cadi be recorded. We qiuote . Superior young draught geldings, at from £50 to £5,5 ; ex-tra good do (prize horses 1 ), £56 to £&5 ; superior young draught mares, £60 to £75 ; medium draught mares and geldings, £30 to £45 ; aged do, £17 to £30 ; upstanding carriage horsies £25 to £35 • weli-'m.'artcJhed carriage pairs', £80 to £100 ; strong spring-van horses, £30 to £35 : miLk-cart and butchers' ordier-cart horses, £20 to £28 ; light hacks, £10 to £18 ; extra good hacks, £20 to £30 ; weedy and aged hacjkjs add harness horses £5 to- £8.
