When a locally made article is as good as the imported and sold at th j o same price*, it us the 'duty of every person m the. community to support the colonial manufactured article. A local industry is a benefit directly 'or indirectly to e.\ery man m the Colony. It employs local capital, is an employer of labor, and in many waya helps to circulate money which would otherwise "be sent alb road, and from which the people of the Colony would reap no benefit. The Milburn Company's cement is eiqjual if not superior to the imported article, is just as cheap, and therefore should be used by all' wbo have the welfare of the Colony at heart, 'and desire to see our New Zealand industries flourish....
