The pupils of St. Joseph's Convent High School (Sacred Heart) were very successful at the recent musical examination held by Mr. MistowsKi, examiner for Trinity, College, London. Of the 13 candidates presented, 12 were successful* as follow -.—Senior division—M. McGrath. Intermediate— M. McGlone. Junior — M. Barry, R. Moeller, T. Ro&c, A. Winter. Preparatory—A. Anderson, M. Higgms, A. Kenny, D. Kenny, O. Norwood, M. Wilson. IH is with regret I have to record the death at the early, <a/ge of 46 of Mr. F. O'Kianc, which took place on September 23, after a. short illness. The deceased was a prominent Hibernian, having held the position of president. He leaves a widow and young family to mourn their less, and for whom much 'sympathy is felt.— R.l.P.
