MISS MARY McMULLAN, ARTHUR'S POINT.
Sincere regret was felt in the Queenstlown district when iti became known thati Miss Mary McMullaft, eldest anfd bfeloived dauiglhtler of Mr. James McMul'lato, bad passed away on August 9. The deceased, who was 28 years of ajgie, was extremely pop, ular among her maoy friends anld adqfu/aimtances, and the circumstances of her death were extremely said, inasmuch as she was a victim of consumption— w disease which had already claimed three other members of the family within a b*rief period. It is needless to say that this affliction, coming so 'qoriqkly after the others, has aroused the keenest sympathy for the sorrowing parents and relatives'. TTie funeral left St. Joseph's Church on August 11 for the local cemetery, where the interment took place in the presence of a large ccmoourse of mourners. The Rev. Father O'Donneil officiated at thei church and graveside.— R.l. P.
