A quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnised m St Patrick's Chuich, Ureymouth, on July 20, when Miss Kitty Byrne, youngest daughter of Mr J. Bynie, of Paroa, Mas united in the bonds of I\lj,ti linony to Mr llemy, E. Juthl, eldest son of Mr. Albert Judd, Tottenham, England. The Very Rc\ . Dean Carew officiated. The bride was attended by Miss Ethyl M (kogan as bridesmaid, and Mr F J X Smallbone was in attendance as best man The bride, who Mas given away by her tather, wore a lonely gown of cieatu cloth trimmed vwth silk medallions and lace Her 'hat was ol cream minor velvet tinnined wuh tips and silk net. The bade groom's present to the bride was a massi.e gold cable bangle and travelling nig, and to the biile^naid a greenstone and pearl necklet The bride's present, to the bridegroom took the form of a neat gold soveieign case Alter the ceremony -the happy party drove to the residence of the bride's father at Paroa, where Ihe wedding breakfast was laid Ihe happy couple lleti t by a special coach for Otira, via kuniara, en route for Dunedin, wheie their future hotnelvvill (,c The presents were numeious and costly, and showed the gieat lespect in which the young couple v\ ere heia The piesent of the bride's father toik the form of a substantial cheque and the bride's moMier, house linen '
