Tftie entertainment (siays the ' Mail ') was a most enjoyable one, every item showing sigrig of p,re(pfaratio(n, and that att&ntion to detail which is so effepti/ve <ajnjd pleasing. Many of the itenivS were of a novel nature, and their preparation must imve entailed an elntormfljus amount of work, but tihe antfhusiastic manner in whicfti tihqse items were received well repiaftd the tfoiulble in pnddfiictioin. The in'strumemtal selections were a foatwre of the eveming, quite a number being playejd, At t|he Oomclusion of the concert the prizes were distributed by the Rev. Father Ainswiortih, of Welliiigton,, who complimented the dhirdren on tiheir excellent periarmamce, which, he saick was a credit to Hhe splendiki work 'done by the good Sisters.
