(Limited; report :—: — We held our weekly auction sale of &rain anu> produce at our stores on Monday, when we submitted a fainy large catalogue to a full attendance of buyeis. There was fair competition throughout for most ol the lines on oflui , hut, except for potatoes, all hues on offer were dillic'ult to place at late full quotations. Values ruled as under :—: — Oats — The market is without much animation. Prime milling and choice seed lines ha\e lair demand, but the inquiry for seed lines is spasmodic, and sales are not freely effected lor anything like laige quantities on the basis of late values. Quotations: Fume to choice seed lines, 2s to 2s 3d ; prime milling, Is 9d to Is lod , good to best feed, Is 8d to Is B£d , interior and modnim Is 4d to Is 7d per bushel (sacks extra) Wheat — There is little change in the market and practically no alterations in values to report Millers' requirements are almost confined to choice lines of which there are lew offering locally Medium quality, if offering plentifully, has little attention. Fowl wheat is also plentiful, but continues to mo\e off steadily at quotations. Quotations : Prime milling, 4s to 4s 2d ; medium to good, 3s 6d to 3s 10d ; best whole fowl wheat, 3s 2-d to 3s 4d : broken and damaged. 2s 9d to 3s ld per bus-hel (sacks extra). Potatoes — During the past week consignments ha\e been moderate, and for prime Derwents a alues ha\e adr vanced about 5s per ton We ha\e strong inquiry for kidneys, up-to-date and other seed varieties Quotations : Prime Derwents, £3 15s to £4 . medium to good, £3 to £3 10s ; seed sorts, £3 5s to £4 per ton (bags in). Chaff — We catalogued about 50 tons on Monday, and in consequence of the heavy supplies coming forward within the past few days, values, except for choice lines, were somewhat lower Best quality is in fair demand, but other sorts not greatly in favor. Quotations ■ Prime oaten sheaf, £3 10s to £3 15s ; choice lines, to £3 17s Gd ; medium to good, £2 15s to £3 5s ; light and inferior, £2 to £2 10s per ton (bags extra) Turnips — We sold best swedes at 15s to 15s Gd (loose, ex truck).
