Stronach Bros, and Morris report as follows * i ■ We held our fortnightly sale of hides at our stores, Crawford street, on Thursday. 16th inst., when there was present a rather smaller attendance of buyers than usual. Competition was keen, however, and under spirited bidding we sold all except two hides, these not reaching our ideas of value. These are good paying prices, and should prove highly satislactory to vendors. Actual prices paid at our sale were as follows :— Prune, heavy ox hides, 6*d to 7d per lb ; medium do, 4fd to «id ; light and inferior do, 3sd to 4fd ; prime heavy cow hides, 5d to s*d ; medium do, 4d to 4ld :
