Victorian, South Australian, and New South Wales' March shipments, 29s 6d. London, June 22. — Frozen Meat — Mutton : Crossbred wethers, maiden •wes — Canterbury, 4d ; Dunedm and Southland, 3 13-16(1 , Nonth Island, unchanged. Lamb : Prime Canterbury, 4£d , fair a\erago (including Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and, secondary Canterbury), 4 5-16 d ; Riven Plate — heavy, 3 9-16 d, light 3 11-16 d. New Zealand beef, 1801 b to 2201 b, fair average quality : Ox fores 3fdt, ox hinds unchanged. Wheat : Three Australian cargoes sold at 29s 6d. Wellington, Juno 23. — The AgentGeneral's cable, dated London, Juno 21, says : — ' The mutton market is depressed. The average price of Canterbury is 3|d ; Dunedin and Southland and Meat Export, 3f d ; other North Island, 3gd , River Plate, 3|d. Lamb . Weak ; stocks are heavy and widely distributed amongst the amenta, who are pushing sales. Canterbury lamb, 4|d to 4id ; River Plate lamb, 4£d Beef (dull) ■ New Zealand hinds, 4gd , fores, 3^d. Hemp (dull and speculative) : Good fair Wellington, on the spot, £30 nominally ; July-Septem-ber, £27 10s. No alteration in cocksfoot.'
