The second Inveroargill wool sale of the season was held on Monday, when there was a good attendance of buyers, and about 6000 bale 9 were offered for sale by the several brokers. The English buyers were keen up to a certain price for good clean lengthy crossbred wool, halfbred and merino also, to 5Jd ; balfbred, 6fd to 7jd ; merino, 6Jd to 7Jd. Two good lines of fine crossbred realised 6|d and 7d.
