London, December 12. — At the tallow sales 1125 casks were offered, and 400 sold. Mutton : Fine, 28a (id ; medium, 26s 9d. Beef : Fine, 27a 3d ; medium, 20s. London, December 14. — Hradford wool is tending upwards. Common, sixties, lSld ; super, 19' d. Christen arch, December 14 — The second wool sale of the season was held yesterday. 10 270 baits were catalogued, and there was a large attendance of buyers. The wool was in very good order, being bright and clean, bat light iv grease. Buyers and sellers were in better agreement as regards values than on previous occasions, and the sale proceeded briskly, sill superior lots of halfbreds and cross* breda showing about \d tj Jd advance, but merinos were without change. The woollen companies were large purchasers of fine wools, and the bulk of coarser wools were tikan tor shipment, local fellmongers getting a fair proportion. Half bred sold up to Bjd, AUandale clip topping the market. Crossbred realised 6id, and merino 7Jd. London, December I<>. — At the sheepskin sales 4264 bales were offered, and all sold. Combing, merinos, and fine crossbreds advanced id to jjd ; clothing merinos, £d ; and coarse crossbreds ghowed id riae. Messrs. Stronach Bros, and Morris report as follows :— Rabbitskins— Market firm. Winter greys, 16d to 17d ; medium, 14d to lo^d ; blacks to 22d. Other lots in proportion. Sheepskins - Market unchanged. Hides — No change to report. Prime heavy ox, 4d to 4Jd ; medium, 3jd to 3}d ; cow hides, 3]d to 3^d per lb. Tallow — Market firm. Best rendered mutton, 16s to 17s 6d ; medium, 14s to I.os 6d ; rough fat, 1 Is to 13s per cwt.
