Dunkdin Horse Salkyardb. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :—: — There was a moderate entry of horses for this week's sale, only some half-dozen draughts being forward, and about a score of useful hacks and harness horses. Good young horses, both draught and light, contiuue very scarce. On Saturday we Bold a
few aged draughts at from L 35 to L 44, and several useful harness horses at from L 8 to Ll9. We quote : Superior young draught geldings, L 45 to L 52 ; extra good prize horses, L 63 to L6O ; medium draught mares and geldings, L3O to L4O ; aged do, L 22 to L2B ; upstanding carriage horses, L 25 to LSO ; well-matched carriage pairs, LSO to L6O ; strong spring-van hones, L 25 to L 32 ; milk-cart and butchers' order-cart horses, Ll6 to L2O ; tram horses, Ll2 f o Lls ; light hacks, L 7 to LlO ; extra good haoki, LlB to L 2."> ; weedy and aged hacks and harness horses, L 2 to L 5.
