WOOL, SKINS, TALLOW, ETC
Messrs. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable from their London office, dated 13th inst :: — • The third series of wool sales have been fixed to open on the Bth May. The quantity of new wool to be admitted is limited to 300,000 bales.' London, February 14. — At the tallow sales 1125 casks were offered and 1100 were sold. Mutton Fine realised 30s 3d ; medium, 295. Beef : Fine, 29s 9d ; medium, 28s (id. London, February 15. — The third series of wool sales will commence on the Bth of May. The catalogue is limited to 300,000 bales.
