At the second wool sales at lnvercargill 5800 bales were offered. The sales went well, but at reduced values in sympathy with the London market. Merinoß and fine half bred were Id to Jd lower, medium and coarse crossbreds ;]d to 1 \d, bellies and pieces lower in spite of keen competition. Merino and fine half bred brought up to lOJ-d, crossbred to 9;} d. There were a good many withdrawals of the large clips.
