"THE GIRLS"

Sir,-Following recent | criticism of "The Girls" I must raise a minority voice in their defence. Compared with the falsetto shrieks and other noises masquerading as humour in Vintage Goons, and the incomprehensible French and guide-book descriptions in the inane Hollywood version of This is Paris (France) I find Leave It to the Girls spontaneous, amusing, and pleasant to the ear. One might suggest that the practice of introducing "expert" speakers does not improve it. The expert requires too much time to expound his point of view and it is that of "The Girls" one wants to hear.
