Familiar Spirits
EW contributors to radio sessions pique one’s curiosity. Who, for example, is Alan Ruffell, at present giving an interesting series of talks on "The Greek Way of Life’ over 3YC? Is he one to come into view-for a moment, only to dive down again into the depths of anonymity? I hope not, for although the Greeks are our familiar spirits, haunting both literature and everyday language, without special study there is much we do not know about them.
