CASABIANCA,; by Captain J. L’'Herminier; Shakespeare Head, Australian price 15/6. FTER the Allied landings in North Africa Captain Jean L’Herminier in the submarine Casabianca broke out of Toulon and reported to the Allied Naval forces at Algiers. Thenceforward the submarine was engaged in the Mediterranean. She played an important part in the liberation of Corsica by means of hazardous night landings of men and munitions for the Resistance.
