Following a throat opgration, Winifred Atwell returned to the cast of "Pardon My French" at London’s Prince of Wales Theatre. Surgical treatment has given her a completely new voice. As a result she now intends to sing as well as play the piano. Winifred Atwell and her piano are featured from 3ZB at 4.45. . Carmen Cavallaro has been studying piano since his fifth birthday. Although making good progress along classical lines, he joined Al Kavelin’s Band as featured pianist, appearing later as soloist with Rudy Vallee, Abe Lyman and Enrique Madruguera and their Orchestras.
