More About Pickles

Dear Aunt Daisy, I would like to tell you how I keep my pickles or relish from shrinking. I use screw-top jars (yeast or malt jars are ideal), and the pickles keep indefinitely without shrinking. In fact, there is always a little moisture on top of the pickles when opened. This hint was given at our Women’s Institute meeting a few years ago, and I have used it with great success ever since.
